Comments:
I have had this skirt for awhile and I knew what I was going to pair it with, but I was waiting for a right time to wear it for some reason. Then I saw three other people style the same skirt and two of them styled it with a white shirt with flowers... which was what I had planned from the very beginning to pair it with. So I scratched that idea and browsed through my shirts for something that would pair well with this. When I saw this shirt I was sold. It made it feel more professional than what I had planned to wear it with, which was more of a t-shirt with a more casual feel.

See, that's what I love about this. I had one idea, and then after seeing similar things on other people's blogs I was pushed to think a little harder about styling a particular piece. It might not have been that much of a stretch, but it made me be a little more deliberate about getting dressed.

  1. Hahaha- you linked to my photo :)
I wanted to pair mine with a pink shirt, but never could find one that matched well enough. I like it with the red- it looks good!
And, I totally know what you mean. If I see someone else with the same skirt/shirt/dress, I try harder to make it my own, instead of trying to look like them :)
